We are seeking an experienced and skilled Park Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities team at Byron Bay.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a maintenance professional to oversee the upkeep of park facilities, grounds, and amenities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, with experience in supervising teams and managing budgets.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all park facilities, including buildings, roads, and landscaping, are well-maintained and meet high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective facility maintenance
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization
  • Manage inventory and resources, including tools, equipment, and materials, to maintain a safe and productive work environment
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address potential maintenance issues before they become major problems
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, including responding to queries and resolving complaints in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Fitness level: fit and energetic
  • Strong attitude and willingness to learn
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of correct manual handling techniques and WHS awareness
  • Current valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work a flexible roster across Monday to Sunday
