Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Director
An exciting opportunity to lead our HEOR efforts in Australia and New Zealand, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive access to vaccines.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) professional to join our team as an Associate Director. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of local HEOR strategies, research studies, data, and evidence to support reimbursement, market access, vaccine recommendations, tender and contracting, and institutional customer engagement in Australia and New Zealand.
As an Associate Director, you will work closely with our Market Access and Pricing, Marketing, Clinical Development, and Medical colleagues to optimize the execution of B2B/B2G evidence generation and communication plans. You will also partner with global support functions and other countries to execute on core deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute local HEOR strategies, research studies, data, and evidence to support reimbursement, market access, vaccine recommendations, tender and contracting, and institutional customer engagement in Australia and New Zealand.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive access to vaccines and ensure consistency of Global Value Dossier with reimbursement dossiers.
- Represent HEOR in early scientific engagement, benefit assessment, and vaccine recommendation processes.
- Drive the local design and execution of high-quality HEOR programs and studies.
- Partner with external research vendors and consultants to deliver results.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A PhD, ScD, or DrPH in life sciences or a clinical degree with a master's degree in a related discipline, plus 5 years of practical experience.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the bio/pharmaceutical/vaccines environment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HEOR function.
- A good understanding of the local healthcare systems and reimbursement processes.
- Experience with NITAG/HTA [i.e., ATAGI, PBAC, and PHARMAC] benefit assessment process and requirements.
