Project Coordinator Opportunity

This prestigious project involves delivering high-profile fit-out projects across Melbourne, focusing on commercial fit-outs and refurbishments in the hospitality, workplace, and retail industry.

  • The successful candidate will oversee the coordination of trades, direct labour, and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to strict Health & Safety standards.
  • They will act as the point of contact between Engineers, Senior Management, and Architects, effectively managing communication and negotiation with stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience as a Site Manager with a principal contractor is required, along with expertise in commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects, construction-related tertiary qualification, and exceptional leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate trade activities, manage labour resources, and oversee material procurement to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with engineers, senior management, and architects to facilitate open communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards by conducting regular site audits and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a site management role with a principal contractor.
  • Expertise in commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
  • Construction-related tertiary qualification.
