We offer a range of support services to individuals with disabilities, and we're looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Richmond.
Job DescriptionThis is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives. As an Occupational Therapist, you'll work with clients to understand their unique needs and goals, and develop personalized treatment plans to help them achieve their objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities through assessments and observations.
- Developing treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Providing evidence-based interventions and therapies.
- Supporting environmental adaptations to promote independence.
- Recommending assistive technology to address functional limitations.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the relevant authorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and a love for learning.
- A passion for working in the disability sector.
- The ability to work independently.
