Electrical Education Specialist

The Electrical Education Specialist will be accountable for delivering professional teaching and vocational expertise to ensure excellent outcomes for learners. The role involves planning and conducting teaching and assessment sessions, developing educational resources, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver education practices that reflect effective engagement strategies for learners.
  • Ensure teaching materials meet regulatory standards, training packages, and related requirements.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Adapt learning and assessment materials for diverse students and environments.
  • Undertake administrative tasks related to the areas taught.
  • Maintain records of qualifications and transcripts as listed on resumes.
  • Assist in establishing, maintaining, and reviewing teaching programs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent.
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Electrical Fitting or related discipline.
  • Registration with relevant professional bodies as required.
  • A record of Vocational Competency mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver.
  • A record of Professional Currency demonstrating current industry knowledge.
