Senior Tax Professional

Our tax dispute resolution and controversy specialists have extensive experience assisting organisations and individuals in preparing for, managing and resolving tax disputes.
They are looking for lawyers who have experience in tax, tax law and tax disputes. Candidates with over 8 years' experience in an advisory firm, Big 4, traditional law firms or Government are invited to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Working with clients in preparing for and resolving their risk reviews, audits and disputes with revenue authorities, including complex ATO audits.
- Preparing objections, briefing counsel and advising clients on ATO Risk Reviews, Audits, Independent Reviews, tax litigation.
- Developing written and oral advocacy skills and providing legal advice (including taxation law and administrative law).
- Previous experience in corporate tax, international tax, tax law and/or tax dispute resolution and controversy.
- Ability to establish a high level of stakeholder engagement and hold the role of an advisor to the business.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and project management skills, as well as an ability to motivate and work as part of a high-performing team.
A Law Degree is mandatory for this role.
