Regional Express is seeking a skilled Aeroskills Specialist to join their Wagga Wagga Engineering Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out aircraft sheet metal repairs and composite repairs, adhering to SAAB repair statements and SAAB SRM.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out aircraft sheet metal repairs and composite repairs
  • Assisting in corrosion and damage removal and assessment
  • Maintaining company sheet metal tooling associated with the sheet metal workshop
  • Providing sheet metal support at other bases and in AOG events

Essential requirements include:

  • Completed a MEA41322 or MEA41318 Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Structures
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in aircraft structural repairs
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic attitude
  • Sound work ethics
  • Meet the requirements to hold an Aviation Security Identity Card

Preferred requirements include:

  • Heavy maintenance experience
  • Composite repair experience
  • SAAB 340 aircraft experience
  • NDI experience or approvals
  • CASA B1 and A1 licence
