Rex, Australia's largest independent regional airline, seeks a skilled Structural/Sheet Metal Engineer to join their Wagga Wagga Engineering Department.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Aeroskills â Structures and at least 5 years of experience in aircraft structural repairs.

Responsibilities include carrying out sheet metal repairs according to SAAB repair statements and SRM, as well as assisting with corrosion/damage removal and assessment.

The successful applicant will report directly to the Base Maintenance Supervisor and be responsible for maintaining company sheet metal tooling associated with the sheet metal workshop.

A competitive salary of $100,000 - $120,000 per annum is on offer, depending on experience. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and expertise in the aerospace industry.

In this full-time position, you will assist in training structural repair work and sheet metal practices, adhere to Rex's safety regulations, and provide sheet metal support at other bases and during AOG events.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a highly motivated attitude, and sound work ethics.
