Medical Equipment Field Service Engineer

As a Medical Equipment Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining medical equipment in the Newcastle, Hunter Region, and Central Coast areas. Your role will involve working with digital X-ray and image-guided therapy product portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop robust customer relationships by providing expert technical advice on maintenance, installation, and servicing of medical equipment.
  • Provide exceptional service to customers through corrective and preventative maintenance, commissioning, and installation of equipment.
  • Participate actively in the sales process and provide expert technical support throughout the entire life cycle of customer relationships.
  • Manage and support technical escalations through to resolution while ensuring all stakeholders are updated on progress according to company process.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in customer-facing service engineering roles is essential.
  • Familiarity with medical equipment like X-ray, IGT, or Angiography is desirable, but candidates from various industries are welcome.
  • A degree-level education or equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or experience as an engineer in the Australian Defence Force specializing in Communications Electronics, RADAR, Instrumentation, or Avionics is required.
  • A restricted electrical licence is highly regarded.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are necessary.
