**Job Title:** Mental Health Professional Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Mental Health Professional Lead to join our team.

About the Role:

  • The Mental Health Professional Lead will be responsible for supervising and developing a multidisciplinary team of Mental Health Practitioners.
  • They will provide clinical guidance on the management of complex and high needs clients within agreed service areas and in line with expertise and qualifications.
  • Providing clinical supervision in both individual and group settings is an essential part of this role.
  • The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing service development, including developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Mental Health Practitioners.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve mental health outcomes for clients.
  • Provide regular clinical supervision and support to team members.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary degree qualification in psychology, counselling, social work or a related field.
  • Registration with a relevant professional body, such as the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Extensive experience working with clients experiencing trauma in a Family Domestic and Sexual Violence (FDSV) setting.
  • Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams in clinical settings is highly desirable.
