Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and provide technical expertise to the team to ensure high performance and ongoing professional development.
  • Encourage innovation and improvement, adopting new technologies and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of technology projects, ensuring they align with client objectives and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Identify potential risks and implement security measures to protect all organisations' IT infrastructure.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment, and ensuring the team's technical skills remain current.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience in successfully leading a technical team (senior engineers, architects or similar) within a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively, openly, and honestly with others.
  • Hold a relevant degree in IT or related field or significant experience in the field.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure.
  • Strong service delivery experience and ITIL knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of management and project stakeholders.
