About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Educator to join our team at YMCA Brisbane's Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service. As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to primary school children before and after school, as well as during school holiday periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and grow
  • Plan and implement engaging and educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of programs and services that meet the needs of children and families

Requirements
  • A Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor degree in the field of children's services or a related field
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • A Positive Notice Blue Card or willingness to obtain one
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
