Job Description

The Operations Manager role is a key position that oversees the day-to-day activities of the Bar and Gaming operations.

This senior leadership position requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to:

  • Manage financials and reporting for the Bar and Gaming operations;
  • Lead and develop a team of paid staff and volunteers in the bar and gaming operations;
  • Coordinate functions, events, and entertainment;
  • Work closely with the independent bistro operator on day-to-day operations;
  • Ensure a safe environment for staff, patrons, and members;
  • Maintain compliance with liquor and gaming legislation.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Liquor Approved Manager License - Queensland;
  • Current RMLV, RSA, RSG First Aid, and CPR qualifications;
  • 3-5 years' experience in club or hotel management;
  • Excellent customer service and staff management skills;
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience with computer, security, audio, and video systems.
