We are looking for a Technology Risk and Compliance Manager to support the Head of Technology Digital Performance and Governance in optimising performance, managing risk, and ensuring adherence to governance and compliance standards.

You will be responsible for managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, uplifting Risk and Compliance Management maturity and capability, providing advice on Policies and Standards, managing Incidents and Breaches, conducting Controls Monitoring and Assurance, developing Reporting for Management and Board Committees, and assisting the Head of Technology Digital Performance and Governance on other Technology Digital Governance, Risk, and Compliance related activities when required.

  • Manage a highly collaborative, transparent, and proactive Governance, Risk, and Compliance culture across Technology Digital through effective stakeholder engagement, awareness, and accountability.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Technology Digital Risk Management Framework which aligns to the principles and practices of the Lendlease Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Establish a robust Technology Digital Risk Management process and technology solution to enable the proactive identification, assessment, and management of risks that can materialise across the value chain.
  • Maintain a register of all Technology Digital Legal, Regulatory or Business specific Compliance requirements, and Technology Digital Policies and Standards to reflect evolving requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Technology Digital Policies and Standards in collaboration with the Technology Digital Leadership Team and ensure embedment and adherence at all levels.
  • Investigate, assess, and manage Technology Digital Incidents and Breaches and work with Technology Digital teams to strengthen the control environment.
  • Review Technology Digital Risks and Controls and contribute to the Risk and Control Self-Assessment process.
  • Develop regular reports highlighting key trends, insights, and actionable recommendations and define key performance indicators and metrics to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of Technology Digital Governance, Risk, and Compliance initiatives.
  • Develop presentations and dashboards for various Forums and Committees such as the Monthly Digital Risk Forum and Enterprise Information Management Committee.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit to support and promote an effective Three Lines of Defence model.

About you:

You will have proven experience in Governance or equivalent role (Risk, Compliance, Audit) across Digital and Technology in large complex organisations, with strong stakeholder management you will also have:

  • Strong understanding of Risk Management, Compliance Management, and Control Assurance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Digital and Technology Legal/Regulatory requirements, industry frameworks, standards, and best practice.
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Project Management and Change Management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing processes, systems, or tools requiring engagement and collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to analyse complex data, identify trends, and assess potential impacts.
  • Experience in delivering presentations, dashboards, and Executive reports.
