Risk Management Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing mitigation strategies in conjunction with business representatives to evaluate business initiatives and projects.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing mitigation strategies in conjunction with business representatives by evaluating business initiatives and projects.
  • Drafting and providing information to maintain risk policies, plans, frameworks and guidelines to provide awareness on risk management best practices.
  • Preparing and reviewing a range of written material including reports and corporate documentation.
  • Assisting in monitoring KRI's, risk appetite and tolerance, and assisting with the implementation of corrective action plans to mitigate risks.
  • Maintaining accurate risk and compliance data/registers within the Agency Risk Management System.
  • Identifying and extracting risk and mitigation data to enhance insight into business activity.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop comprehensive risk profiles for projects and work streams.
  • Managing relationships with delegated Business portfolio, providing advice and communicating key issues and areas of risk to relevant stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with risk management systems and processes.
Benefits

This is an immediate start opportunity with a contract term of 18 months. The position is based in Surry Hills NSW.
