Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Worker

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in grounds/landscaping maintenance services, including the use of ride-on mowers and brush cutters.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform landscaping services at multiple sites, including mowing, edging, sweeping/blowing, pruning, hedge/tree trimming, weed control, and turf maintenance.
  • Refresh gardens by applying woodchip, mulch, and new plants.
  • Pressure wash external buildings as required.
  • Remove all garden waste and transfer it to an authorized waste transfer station.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to multitask, work with limited supervision, and make sound decisions quickly.
  • High standard of integrity and reliability.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication skills, and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with interfacing technology (iPhone) used to systematically monitor location/jobs.
  • Comfortable working outdoors.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Have your own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Benefits:

  • $30.00 - $32.00 per hour salary range.
  • Full-time and casual positions available.
  • 8-hour shift, day shift.
  • Overtime pay.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in Grounds/Landscaping maintenance services.
  • Experience using a ride-on mower - advantageous.
  • Experience using a brushcutter - advantageous.
  • Driver's license with a good driving record.
