The Australian Defence Force is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Air Force Training Systems Officer.

This is a challenging opportunity for a qualified individual to provide expert advice on the application of the Air Force Training System and work collaboratively with subject matter experts to maintain the Air Force's Registered Training Organisation (RTO) status in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) Quality Framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consulting on and coordinating training with military/civilian training staff, external service providers, and students
  • Identifying training needs, conducting training analysis, designing training courses, and facilitating development and implementation of training
  • Providing advice on course evaluation, validating courses against workplace needs, and providing training solutions
  • Advising on appropriate training technology, including e-learning and/or other technology-based training methods
  • Facilitating the development of systems for quality training and assessment and managing instructors and training developers

In this role, you will have the opportunity to employ specialist skills to provide advice on and develop guidelines for training requirements analysis, training technologies, predictive training concept development, and training policy.

About the Role:

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
