The role of a Senior Financial Accountant is crucial in our endeavour. Key responsibilities include preparing timely and accurate financial reports, including balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset register, annual statutory financial statements, and covenant reporting.

  • Assist in tax compliance, including BAS, FBT, income tax, and prepare position papers conforming to AASBs.
  • Prepare fortnightly payroll and address queries related to payroll, including ad-hoc reporting.
  • Implement process improvements and systems enhancements initiatives, including OCR technology and Blackline.
  • Liaise with auditors and demonstrate quality workplace practices consistent with our quality policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years post CA/CPA qualification.
  • Relevant experience in public practice, top 4 or mid-tier firm, and commercial experience.
  • Experience in implementing systems enhancements and working in utility, infrastructure, construction, or property development industries (desirable).
