Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Mechanical Specialist.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overhaul and assemble complex mechanical components to precise standards
  • Operate and maintain workshop equipment relevant to the role
  • Interpret technical drawings and instructions accurately
  • Manage workshop cleanliness, tool condition, and equipment integrity
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members
  • Contribute to process improvements and team development

Requirements:

  • Australian-recognised trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or related field
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Work at Heights Certificate
  • Confined Space Certificate
  • Dogging/Rigging (desirable but not essential)
  • Forklift Ticket (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to perform manual labour and meet physical demands
  • Strong commitment to safety and reliability
