We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team in Hervey Bay, Queensland. As a key member of the nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and support individuals with various needs.
About the OpportunityThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, compassion, and effective communication.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized and personalized support to customers in accordance with their support plans and medical practitioner directions.
- Work collaboratively with registered nurses, allied health professionals, and medical practitioners to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medication and provide complex clinical care, including palliative care, diabetes management, bowel care, and more.
- Monitor and communicate customer wellbeing and report on progress.
- Ensure all services are provided in a caring and respectful manner, adhering to policies and procedures, legislative requirements, and program-specific guidelines.
- Minimum Diploma of Nursing qualification.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certificate.
- Current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
- AHPRA Registration.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance preferred).
- Smartphone with internet access.
- Proof of vaccination (where relevant), such as COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
- Previous experience in the community care or health/aged care sector.
