Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Psychiatric Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a full-time role in a state-of-the-art leading accredited regional hospital.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes. With a strong focus on mental health, this position offers a challenging and rewarding experience for those passionate about psychiatry.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert psychiatric care to patients across two units, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal results.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring holistic care and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions and continuity of service.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices in mental health care.
- Contribute to education and training programs, sharing expertise with junior staff members and students.
Requirements
- Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA, demonstrating commitment to professional standards.
- Be admitted to Specialist Pathway with RANZCP or demonstrate comparable qualifications and experience.
- Be onshore in Australia or eligible for Competent Authority Pathway, holding relevant visas or permits.
- Have a proven track record in clinical practice, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and communication.
- Demonstrate a passion for lifelong learning, staying up-to-date with the latest research and developments in psychiatry.
What We Offer
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of AU$250,000 - AU$350,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including:
