Care Provider in Paediatric Palliative Medicine

We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative specialist to provide holistic, family-centred care to children across the region.
- Provide specialist paediatric palliative care in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient and community environments.
- Participate in after-hours support and statewide on-call advisory services for effective care delivery.
- Collaborate with internal and external healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Contribute to education and training for medical students, junior doctors, nursing and allied health staff through knowledge sharing and skills development initiatives.
- Engage in research, quality improvement and service development projects to enhance patient care and clinical practices.
Key Requirements:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (or equivalent).
- Current specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience in interdisciplinary teamwork and compassionate care delivery.
- Strong communication, leadership and teaching skills for effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
