Staff Specialist in Paediatric Palliative Medicine, John Hunter Children's Hospital — NSW Health, New Lambton Heights, New South Wales, Australia.
What You'll Do- Provide specialist paediatric palliative care across inpatient, outpatient and community settings
- Participate in after hours support and statewide on-call advisory services
- Collaborate with internal and external healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Contribute to education and training for medical students, junior doctors, nursing and allied health staff
- Engage in research, quality improvement and service development initiatives
- Fellowship of the RACP and Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (or equivalent)
- Current specialist registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in interdisciplinary teamwork and compassionate care delivery
- Strong communication, leadership and teaching skills
