Seeking an electronics professional to join our team as a Simulator Technician. This role involves maintaining ground-based training simulators, ensuring they are always ready for pilot training.

Key responsibilities include installing, testing, repairing and modifying electronic equipment according to technical manuals and OEM provided system schematics.

Collaborate with colleagues on investigations to resolve non-standard technical issues and maximise simulator operations.

Keep stakeholders informed about maintenance and performance updates.

Role model and advocate WH&S practices across the workforce.

Foster strong customer relationships and represent the company professionally.

Requirements
  • Understanding of digital processing, audio-visual, video projection, PC, server, LAN networks and communication systems.
  • Familiarity with Linux OS.
  • Experience in repairing electronic and electro-mechanical equipment is highly desirable.
  • Cabling experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to work harmoniously with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to motivate and influence others.
