About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team at Metcash. As a key member of our Logistics Operations team, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of all warehouse operations, including the storage and flow of goods from receiving through to dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all team members.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Lead and motivate a team of supervisors to achieve high performance standards.
- Manage costs associated with operating the warehouse, including inventory control and supply chain management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in warehouse management and leadership. You will have a proven track record of driving continuous improvement and achieving high performance standards. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
