Senior Speech Pathologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Speech Pathologist to join our team working in Diagnostic and Cochlear Implant Audiology.

The Tasmanian Health Service provides a wide range of healthcare services, including audiology and speech pathology services. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients and improving their health outcomes.

Job Description:

Provide and coordinate speech pathology services to clients seen in the statewide audiology service. This includes providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals with communication disorders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Broad knowledge of and experience in providing paediatric speech pathology services within a multidisciplinary framework.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the impact of hearing loss on speech, language, and communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment and initiative to work with minimum supervision in a complex working environment.
  • Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Current Working with Children Registration.
