Job Title: Civil Construction Apprentice

We are seeking motivated individuals to fill the position of Civil Construction Apprentice. This role provides an opportunity to develop practical skills in civil construction while earning a salary.

The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting with civil construction and maintenance works, reading and interpreting plans and job specifications, measuring and calculating materials, operating small plant and hand tools, and supporting traffic management activities.

To succeed in this role, applicants should have completed Year 10, possess good communication and interpersonal skills, and be willing to take instruction and undertake formal training. They should also hold Traffic Management Accreditation or be able to obtain it on commencement of employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with civil construction and maintenance works
  • Reading and interpreting plans and job specifications
  • Measuring, calculating, and organising materials
  • Operating small plant, hand, and power tools
  • Supporting traffic management and risk management activities
Requirements:
  • Traffic Management Accreditation
  • White Card
