Job Overview

This is a senior-level position within our project controls team, responsible for developing and implementing risk management functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-risk, complex projects, and a strong understanding of probabilistic simulation and risk analysis.

  • Develop and maintain governance documents for project controls functions, including risk and contingency policies and procedures;
  • Implement project controls procedures and systems, as well as provide training to project management teams and contractors;
  • Contribute to technical bids and establish/maintain WBS, work packages, project cost ledger, and master schedule;
  • Prepare/review cost estimates and implement/support cost control, schedule, and progress control;
  • Monitor/support cost performance activities and produce/support delivery of accurate and unbiased cost forecasts;

The successful candidate will be an expert in planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, Asta Powerproject, with strong report writing and analytical skills.

">Required Skills

• Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction or similar;
• Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills;
• 5+ years of experience working as a project controls practitioner in high-risk, complex, and large-scale/major infrastructure, utilities, and Defence industries projects;
• Experience in probabilistic simulation risk analysis, including 3 Point estimate, Risk Factors, and First Principles Quantitative Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis;
• Expert knowledge of planning software, including Primavera P6, MS Project, Asta Powerproject;
• Strong report writing skills and analytical skills;
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
