Project Risk Specialist Role

Our Project Risk Specialist is responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative risk identification, analysis, assessment and governance reporting across a range of project activities within the capability acquisition and sustainment lifecycle.

This role will be required to coordinate risk identification, management and mitigation strategies and support the executive in governance reporting.

The key responsibilities of the role will include implementing the Defence risk and benefit management framework, coordinating stakeholders, analysing risks, synthesising reports, educating stakeholders, developing plans and documents, escalating risks and advising on policy development.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications or proven industry experience
  • In-depth understanding of risk management methodologies, tools, and frameworks – Predict experience is essential
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and capacity to solve problems
  • Experience with Acquisition and Sustainment risk management
  • Experience managing and governing risk procedures
