Position Overview
The State Government Department is situated in Joondalup, providing temporary contracts with the possibility of extension for suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities
To be eligible for this role, candidates should possess the following experience and skills:

  • Prior experience in a Credit Control or related position
  • Account reconciliation and ledger maintenance
  • Processing of credit claims
  • Addressing customer account inquiries
  • Invoice filing and other administrative duties
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Recent experience in a payroll-related role (or similar) within the government sector
  • Familiarity with software such as Empower (payroll software), CM9 (TRIM), and intermediate proficiency in Excel
  • Capability to collect high volumes of receivables within credit terms
  • Ability to work independently while achieving targets
  • A positive attitude with a friendly demeanor towards clients
  • Collection of overdue accounts
  • Reconciliation and upkeep of debtor ledgers
  • Meeting collection targets to enhance cash flow
  • Compliance with credit policies and procedures
