Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead a small QA team in our fast-paced and dynamic game meat processing plant. Our company is Australia's largest exporter of game meat products to Europe, America, Asia, and the Pacific.

We pride ourselves on being customer-focused and producing high-quality products. Your key responsibilities will include maintaining and monitoring quality objectives, providing leadership and direction to your team, conducting routine inspections, and enhancing the Quality Assurance System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and monitor QA objectives and activities supporting business plan and policies
  • Provide leadership and direction to QA Officers, developing them into a high-performing team
  • Conduct routine inspections of factory, processes, and product according to HACCP and Standards

Requirements:

  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or equivalent relevant tertiary qualification
  • Experience in meat/high-risk food manufacturing is essential
  • Experience in BRC, internal auditing, and GMP practices

  • A curious nature with high decision quality and ability to stand alone
