Nurse Leadership and Operations Manager

Bond University seeks a professional with leadership skills and operational expertise to oversee the on-campus Medical & Health Service. This role ensures high-quality medical services are delivered in alignment with RACGP Standards and Australian healthcare regulations.

This position will lead clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives while managing day-to-day operations of the service. The role involves supervising nursing and administrative staff and engaging with stakeholders and external providers.

  • Achieving and maintaining accreditation compliance is essential for this role.
  • Experience in practice management and leadership is required.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are necessary for success in this position.
  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge of RACGP Standards, healthcare regulations, and digital health technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Lead clinical governance and patient safety initiatives.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the medical service.
  • Supervise and develop capabilities of nursing and administrative staff.
  • Engage with university stakeholders and external healthcare providers.
  • Ensure high-quality, compliant medical services are delivered.
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum 5 years clinical nursing experience, with 3+ years in leadership/management.
  • Proven experience in practice management and achieving and maintaining accreditation compliance.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of RACGP Standards, healthcare regulations, and digital health technologies.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
Benefits
  • Salary commencing at $112,811.36 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
  • Fixed term employment contract of up to two years, with twelve months' probation.
  • Opportunity for conversion to a continuing employment contract.
