Area General Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Area General Manager for our Northern Region. This role offers a unique chance to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth, improve performance, and enhance the overall customer experience.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing operations across a portfolio of properties, including Club Wyndham Surfers Paradise, The Sebel Palm Cove, Ramada Resort by Wyndham Port Douglas, and more. Key responsibilities will include leading and developing teams, driving change and improvement initiatives, building relationships with stakeholders, and maintaining high product and service standards.

  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead and develop high-performing teams in all aspects of resort operations, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business strategies that align with company objectives, drive revenue growth, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, employees, and external partners, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional customer experiences through proactive issue resolution, personalized service, and continuous quality improvement.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of leadership and management experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a solid understanding of financial metrics and analytics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
