Cost Management Team Leader

Salary InformationWe offer a competitive salary for this role, estimated to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionThis is a key leadership position within our Commercial team, responsible for managing and running the team to deliver cost management services across multiple projects in the Commercial and Industrial sectors.
- Lead a high-performing team to ensure all deliverables are met, while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Perform cost planning and cost estimating duties, utilizing expertise in quantity surveying or construction management.
- Measure quantities based on design drawings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide pre-contract cost planning services during design stages of projects, driving value for clients.
- Integrate with full cost management and project management teams in Queensland, supporting strategic initiatives when required.
- Work independently, taking responsibility for deliverables, and demonstrating strong time management skills.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A recognized degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, with MAIQS/MRICS certification highly desirable.
- Proven consultancy environment work experience, with proficiency in CostX software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
- Strong time management skills, quick thinking, and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, with excellent report and bid writing skills.
- A passion for delivering exceptional results, with a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
