Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Moruya. The successful applicant will be working within the Operating Theatre department and will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

About the Role

This permanent part-time position offers up to 36 hours per week, with remuneration ranging between $36.39 and $51.09 per hour. The ideal candidate will possess current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred nursing care using best practice evidence and collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team.
  • Supervise and support less experienced clinicians to achieve people-focused quality care.
Selection Criteria

The following qualifications and skills are required for this role:

  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Competencies and knowledge in nursing care within a multidisciplinary team context.
  • Effective clinical communication through information technology, written and verbal means, with professional interpersonal skills.
  • Application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised person-centred care and quality improvement.
  • Ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate to deliver quality nursing care, with leadership and openness to change in coordination and delivery of care.
  • Recent clinical experience relevant to the position with ongoing professional development and maintenance of competence.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload and deliver care with integrity and accountability.
