**Assistant in Nursing**

Wollongong, Illawarra & South Coast NSW

Contract/Casual$35 - $37 per hour

**As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) with Advance Nursing, you will**:

- Deliver safe, high-quality, and compassionate care in aged care facilities, hospitals, community settings, and in-home care environments
- Assist residents or clients with daily living activities including hygiene, mobility, meal preparation, personal care, and domestic assistance
- Monitor and accurately document progress, behaviours, and observations
- Support nursing and allied health staff within your scope of practice
- Provide emotional and social support to clients, promoting independence and dignity
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes
- Adhere to professional standards, workplace policies, and ethical guidelines

**What We Are Looking For**:

- Certificate III/IV in Individual Support (Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent)
- Previous experience in aged care, hospital, or community support roles
- Strong understanding of infection control, manual handling, and safe work practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy and patience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to person-centred care
- Current police clearance and relevant immunisations (as per facility requirements)
