Manufacturing Operations Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shift Team Leader to join our team at our manufacturing facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing shift-to-shift operations and performance, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our extrusion lines and production areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the health and safety culture for the team
- Provide leadership and supervision for the team on shift
- Engage and motivate the team and work with them to solve issues
- Support operators in their learning and development, competency and experience in daily operations
About You:
- Demonstrated leadership experience with 3-5 years of proven shift management of small/medium sized teams in Plastics/FMCG/continuous batch manufacturing/heavy industrial operations
- Mechanical aptitude with a hands-on approach whilst leading and mentoring a team
- Able to set and align balanced operational priorities with an emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, throughput, proactive reporting, and a continuous improvement mindset
