Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Carpenter to join our team in a Quality Control role. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in all aspects of our building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete Quality Inspections: Conduct thorough quality inspections on all building projects to ensure compliance with our quality control program.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail, setting a high standard for all carpenters, apprentices, and sub-contractors.
  • Timely Project Delivery: Ensure that all projects are completed within set timelines, meeting the required quality standards.
  • Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to help them develop their skills and expertise.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, including the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
Requirements
  • Trade Qualification: Possess a trade qualification in Carpentry.
  • Experience: Have at least 4 years of experience in the building industry, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Skillset: Be proficient in carpentry techniques and methods, including framing, lock-up, fix, cladding, and decking work.
  • Communication: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically fit and able to perform the physical demands of the role.
