This internship offers a unique opportunity to work with premier sports governing bodies, leagues, teams, and broadcasters.

You'll gain hands-on experience in data analysis, research, and insights that inform commercial and business strategy. Your role will involve collecting and cleaning sports match data to explain trends in audiences and brand exposure patterns, analyzing and summarizing trends in Futures sports fan surveys, and using internal apps and software to collect and store data required by analysts.

To succeed in this internship, you must be currently enrolled in an Australian tertiary course that requires an internship or placement, have a strong academic record in a business degree, and be passionate about data, sport, and the business of Sport and Entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Collection and Cleaning: Collect and clean sports match data to explain trends in audiences and brand exposure patterns.
  • Trend Analysis: Analyze and summarize trends in Futures sports fan surveys.
  • Data Management: Use internal apps and software to collect and store data required by analysts.
  • Administration Tasks: Assist with other administration tasks requiring strong attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN AN AUSTRALIAN TERTIARY COURSE THAT REQUIRES AN INTERNSHIP OR PLACEMENT
  • STRONG ACADEMIC RECORD IN A BUSINESS DEGREE
  • PASSION FOR DATA, SPORT, AND THE BUSINESS OF SPORT AND ENTERTAINMENT
