Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team.

  • Performing Scheduled Maintenance Services:

To achieve smoother running of vehicles, we require the ability to perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups. This includes identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions to prevent breakdowns.

Repair and Replacement of Mechanical Components:

The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components in accordance with manufacturer specifications. They will also refer to service manuals as needed to ensure accurate repairs.

Detection and Diagnosis of Engine Faults:

Using advanced diagnostic tools, the Motor Mechanic will detect and diagnose faults in engines and parts, working closely with other team members to resolve issues efficiently.

Maintenance and Repair of Automotive Systems:

This role requires the ability to dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components for inspection and repair. The successful candidate must have a keen eye for detail and be able to identify potential problems before they become major issues.

Suspension, Brake, and Wheel Alignment Services:

Our ideal candidate will be skilled in checking and repairing suspensions, brakes, and wheel alignments on automotive vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Reassembly and Quality Control:

After completing repairs, the Motor Mechanic will reassemble engines and parts, conducting quality control checks to ensure everything is working properly.

Inventory Management and Tool Maintenance:

The successful candidate will manage stock reordering and inventory, ensuring the right parts are available when needed. They will also maintain and organize tools, equipment, and machinery in good condition.

Customer Service:

Providing exceptional customer service is essential in this role. Our Motor Mechanic will deliver outstanding service at all times, communicating professionally and politely with customers.

Regulatory Compliance:

The successful candidate must adhere to regulations related to pollution and health and safety at all times, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
