We are excited to offer positions for Support Workers throughout our supported independent living services.
As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives and help them achieve their goals.
- You will provide support to improve independence by assisting with living skills, transport, social activities, medication, and personal care.
- You will keep customer records up to date using online systems.
- You will develop and maintain professional relationships with people, families, caregivers, and key stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be punctual, friendly, non-judgmental, empathetic, and compassionate. You will also need to be invested in providing the highest quality in disability services and competent in working with people with a disability.
Requirements:
- An appropriate certificate level qualification in Disability or Community Services/individual support or R equivalent relevant experience in the human services industry.
- A valid NSW Drivers C class licence, with the ability to drive vehicles in licence class, including large cars and vans.
- The capacity to lift 10 kilograms unassisted.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and other common systems.
