About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at JLL. As the successful candidate, you will play a pivotal role in providing our clients with a professional, responsive, and effective level of service specifically related to various facilities functions within their site.

This role is responsible for the everyday maintenance of the building/s and environment, ensuring all operations and maintenance undertaken in the premises conform with the workplace health and safety legislative requirements and any other relevant legislative requirements applicable to those tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • General repairs and maintenance of all aspects of the clients property portfolio
  • Minor building work and furniture repairs/alterations
  • Remove and/or install whiteboards, plaques, signage, and screens
  • Patching and painting as required
  • Building exterior maintenance
  • Support the Facilities team in administrative functions, minor works projects, and reporting as and when required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a maintenance role
  • Trade certification or licence in a relevant field will be highly regarded
  • Experience using hand or power equipment
  • Strong interpersonal, decision-making skills, and outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • This role has the responsibility and duty of care to work safely and to protect yours and fellow workers' health and safety. You must comply with the requirements of health and safety guidelines, policies, and rules.
