We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Pool Instructors to join our Casual Swim Programs team. As a key member of our Leisure and Pools team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality swim programs to meet the needs of our community.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, teaching essential swim skills to people of all ages. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and safe lessons, ensuring participants achieve their personal development goals and improve their swimming skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate Excellent Teaching Skills: Deliver high-quality swim programs, adhering to Central Coast Council's Learn to Swim Program guidelines and lesson plans.
  • Safety First: Ensure participant safety at all times through provision of safe activities and continual surveillance of swim class members.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and keep track of participants' progress.
  • Preparation is Key: Prepare lessons and equipment as instructed by Crew Leaders.

We require individuals who possess excellent communication skills, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. If you have a current AUSTSWIM qualification or equivalent, experience in delivering high-quality swim programs, and a willingness to work across multiple locations, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits

Casual Swim Programs Instructors enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $36.08 (inclusive of 25% casual loading) plus 11.5% superannuation. Penalty rates apply for weekend shifts. As a valued member of our team, you will also receive opportunities for professional growth and development.

Salary Estimate: $36.08 per hour, up to 38 hours per week.
