We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team in Electrophysiology. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing clinical, technical, and educational support to our customers in the ANZ region.
Your primary focus will be on supporting the introduction of new therapies, including Pulsed Field Ablation, and demonstrating clinical expertise to influence superior outcomes. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical support, including basic troubleshooting and clinical guidance, to diagnose and treat cardiac arrhythmias.
- Develop a deep technical understanding of electrophysiology procedures, products, and treatment applications.
- Travel as required to meet customer demand for clinical support services.
- Attend cases face-to-face or remotely with customers, operating Boston Scientific products, and providing detailed training and advice on clinical attributes and techniques.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, including Cardiac Electrophysiologists, Cardiac Physiologists, and Nurses.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the workflows and specificities of each hospital and business relationships with hospital personnel.
- Ensure timely collection and reporting of all required medical documentation pertaining to procedural device operation.
- Respond to complex customer needs and complaints regarding products and services.
- Record customer information and activities in our CRM system.
- Complete relevant administration, including reporting, stock validations, and inventory management.
- Attend meetings, conferences, and exhibitions to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
- Previous clinical case experience within electrophysiology or rhythm management is essential.
- Strong technical and clinical skills, with a thorough understanding of Cardiac Electrophysiology, biophysics of radiofrequency and cryoablation, and Pulsed Field Ablation.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining customer relationships, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in preferred disciplines, including biomedical engineering and science-related disciplines.
- Desired qualifications include IBHRE EP and IBHRE Pacing.
