Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic RoleJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our Operations team to support our growing operations in Australia. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.Responsibilities
  • Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify problems with diesel engines transmissions brakes steering and other vehicle components
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues in diesel engines and associated equipment ensuring prompt resolution to minimize downtime
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes filter replacements and fluid checks as well as complex repairs including engine overhauls transmission rebuilds and hydraulic system repairs
  • Respond to breakdowns and emergencies promptly executing repairs efficiently to restore equipment functionality and minimize disruptions to operations
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles and equipment ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Certificate III in Heavy Road Transport or Certificate III in Diesel Fitting
  • First Aid
  • Perform CPR
  • Low Voltage Rescue and CPR
  • Confined Space Entry with BA
