Job Title:

IT Procurement and Licensing Specialist

Job Description

This role will support the IT Financial Manager by managing the acquisition, licensing and lifecycle of IT assets (software & hardware) while ensuring compliance with procurement policies, licensing agreements, and regulations are being followed.

The IT Procurement and Licensing Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate and manage IT procurement activities including hardware, software, consumables, and services.
  • Ensuring compliance with Common Use Agreements and Digital purchasing requirements for software licenses including Microsoft licensing frameworks.
  • Conduct due diligence checks on suppliers and onboard them into procurement system & ITSM.
  • Maintain meticulous records of purchases, licenses, and contracts.
  • Facilitate and track the acquisition and deployment of IT assets into ITSM.
  • Assisting IT Financial Manager with collating reports for software, maintenance, and service agreements.

Key Performance Indicators include:

  1. Successfully implementing procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
  2. Improving supplier relationships and reducing costs through effective procurement practices.
  3. Increasing efficiency in IT asset management and deployment processes.
  4. Enhancing data quality and accuracy in procurement records.
  5. Reducing risk associated with non-compliance and improving regulatory adherence.
Requirements

Applicants should have relevant experience in a similar role. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Relevant experience in procurement or a related field.
  • D365, JDE, Oracle, and PR order management exposure.
  • Experience and knowledge of ITSM toolset.
  • Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, and email.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to all tasks with a strong ability to drive outcomes.
  • Ability to apply an analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
