Electrical Installation Support Specialist

PHE Mining seeks an Electrical Installation Support Specialist to work on a fixed-term project contract basis. The role will be based at a mine site in NSW with a 2:1 roster and 12-hour shifts. We encourage candidates from regional areas or those willing to relocate to apply.

The successful candidate will provide support to our electrical construction teams to prepare for the installation of electrical and instrumentation systems at an underground hard rock mine. This includes:

  • Completing infrastructure projects, including installing ventilation systems, ductwork, fans, and air handling units
  • Aiding in the assembly and installation of ductwork, ensuring proper sizing and connections
  • Supporting the installation and maintenance of ventilation fans, motors, and associated components
  • Assisting in gathering and organizing materials needed for electrical projects

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Previous experience in underground mining and as an electrical TA
  • A committed attitude to maintaining a strong safety culture
  • A flexible approach to working with all crews
  • The ability to pass a full medical and fitness test

The successful candidate will hold or be able to obtain:

  • A C-class driver's license
  • A High-Risk Work License - WPWhite Construction Card
  • A Working at Heights certificate (current within 18 months)
  • A National Police Check
