**About the Role:**

- Support NDIS-readiness across the division and act as the key point of contact with the National Disability Insurance Agency local office and Local Area Coordination partner.

The role will liaise with clinical staff regarding access and support for consumers to NDIS planning, access and review processes. The Program Lead will work collaboratively with other roles and activity being undertaken by each of the area mental health services in metropolitan Melbourne, and the work of the Department of Health and Human Services Specialist Clinical Mental Health and NDIS Collaboration Project.

To be successful in this role, applicants must have a relevant professional qualification in a health-related discipline with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a demonstrated understanding and thorough working knowledge of the NDIS Act (2013), National Disability Standards, and the needs of mental health consumers, their families and carers.
