Pastry Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled pastry professional to join our bakery team in Melbourne. As a Pastry Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sweet and savory fillings and toppings, assembling pastries, frying and filling doughnuts, and assisting with cookie and tart production.

This is a full-time opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow within a dynamic kitchen environment. You will work closely with our experienced bakers to develop new skills and take on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and assembling a variety of baked goods, including pastries, doughnuts, and cookies.
  • Assisting with the production of sweet and savory fillings and toppings.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Working effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen or bakery environment.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to lift 20kg and stand for extended periods.
