About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Cleanaway, a leading waste management company in Australia.

As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled corrective and preventative maintenance services on trucks, trailers, and heavy mobile equipment.

You will work autonomously and as part of a team to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring all equipment is safe to use and stored correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out scheduled maintenance services on heavy vehicles and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Test drive and operate equipment to ensure repair has been completed correctly
  • Ensure all equipment is safe to use and stored correctly

About You

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic who holds a Certificate IV in Engineering - Automotive Mechanical.

You will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
